Membership with getbadged under the Certified / Lateral Transfer category is based on self-attested eligibility information provided by the applicant. While getbadged does not perform formal background checks or employment verifications, the platform reserves the right to verify any information provided using publicly available data (e.g., the Massachusetts POST Officer Database or Civil Service Active Officer Roster) and/or through verification by the employing agency.
If getbadged is notified by a law enforcement agency, the Massachusetts POST Commission, or another verifiable authority that a member does not meet the stated eligibility requirements — including but not limited to current employment, POST certification, or good standing — getbadged reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership immediately.
In accordance with our terms, no refunds or credits will be issued if it is determined that a member provided false or misleading information or failed to meet the stated eligibility requirements at the time of purchase or thereafter.
