Job Description
Carver PD: Where Your Next Badge Tells a Bigger Story!
Carver PD isn’t looking for average — we’re looking for seasoned officers who want their next badge to mean more. If you’re ready for responsibility, variety, and a department where your voice counts, this is your move.
A few things about the Carver PD that make us different:
- The Size of the Department Matters: With a team of 25 sworn officers, you’ll know every name, every partner, every backup. No faceless roll calls here.
- Specialized Opportunities Are Real: Detectives, community resource, SROs — you won’t wait in line behind hundreds of others.
- Your Voice Counts. Policy isn’t just handed down — in a department our size, input from officers actually shapes the direction of the agency.
- Population, Personality & Pride: A community of just over 11,000 residents — but our annual Cranberry Festival brings in 30,000+ visitors. Think you can handle small-town connections with big-event energy?
- You’ll Get Variety: Domestic calls, community engagement, large-scale event details, and rural patrol — sometimes all in one shift.
- Diversity in Our Community: Our residents are tight-knit but not one-size-fits-all. Cultural awareness and sensitivity matter here.
- A Busy Small Town: Carver PD responds to over 10,000 calls for service annually — proving that “quiet town” doesn’t mean “quiet shifts.”
- All-Hands On Deck: Carver PD works side-by-side with a strong call-fire department — interagency teamwork is part of the DNA.
Your next badge should tell a bigger story. Apply today! Make it Carver PD — where your experience and drive set the standard.
