Your Next Rank: Sergeant

Additionally, the Department is currently looking to fill the role of Sergeant—a rare leadership opportunity for experienced officers ready to step up. This position is especially well-suited for retired officers, offering the unique advantage of working for a private institution without impacting your state pension.

Both positions offer strong benefits, long-term growth potential, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a forward-thinking public safety environment.

Enjoy strong benefits, long-term growth potential, and the chance to make a real impact in a forward-thinking public safety environment.

We’re full-service, 24/7 and sworn. As an SSPO and Suffolk County deputy, you’ll have real authority—backed by real support.
