Minimum Requirements

To be eligible to apply to this position, candidates must meet or exceed the following requirements:

• Must obtain a 70% or above on the GetBadged Entry Exam.
• Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (Birth or Naturalization).
• Must be a High School graduate, or possess a G.E.D.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test (PAT).
• Pass a thorough background investigation.
• Pass a medical and psychological exam.
• Be of good character and high moral standards.
• Possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions, to read and write
  proficiently in the English language.
• Must be able to write clear and concise reports, and have good people
  skills.
• Candidates may be subjected to oral testing and interviews, as well as scrutiny of
  all application information.

Salary & Compensation

The Uxbridge Police Department is pleased to offer a generous Salary & Compensation package. 

Salary: 

• $72,797 - $81,962

  • $1,250/year, after first year.

  • First year, used for initial insurance for Police Academy.
