The City of Framingham is actively seeking FT Academy Trained candidates for the role of FT Police Officer. Candidates are required to meet the Minimum Requirements and pass the getbadged entry exam as specified by the department. Minimum Requirements

To be considered an eligible candidate, the Framingham PD requires applicants receive a 75% and above on the PES Entry Exam and meet or exceed the Minimum Requirements as outlined below.

• Be a U.S. Citizen (Birth or naturalization)
• Must have completed a FT police academy, in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 41, Section 96B, and be POST Certified
• Possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
• Possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license
• Possess an unrestricted Massachusetts Class A License to Carry a Firearm (LTC-A)
• Not be a convicted felon, or have convictions from another jurisdiction that would be treated as a felony in the Commonwealth
• Not smoke and stay a non-smoker. Smoking of tobacco products is prohibited as outlined by G.L. c. 41 Section 101A of the Massachusetts General Laws
• Must be free of tattoos past the wrist towards the hand, on the neck, or on the face
• Must pass background investigation
• Be able to obtain CJIS certification
• Receive a passing grade of 75% and above on the PES Entry Exam
